1. First create your assets - collections of words, logo, and images that you might add to your website.
2. Using the InDesign template 1024x768 but change it, making it double the height, more like 1500 high.
3. Add a grid so that you have a nice margin & gutter
4. Sketch out on paper some design ideas, where might the logo go, what is the main area of the site you want someone to go to, what key image will draw the eye? (Consider how you will instil a hierarchy)
5. Add placeholder boxes so you have mapped out the elements
6. Create your site as a rough draft, getting feedback on it, saving different versions as you go along.
7. Get teacher feedback
8. Work to a final version.
